F/UTP CAT5e cables are engineered for Class D transmission channels, supporting frequencies up to 100MHz. While standard Cat.5 supported Fast Ethernet (100Mbps), Cat.5e features improved Near-End Crosstalk (NeXT) and Far-End Crosstalk (FeXT) values, making it suitable for Gigabit Ethernet (1000Base-T) networks. This cost-effective standard remains popular in home, office, and prosumer markets.
