The MTP connector is a multi-fiber push-on connector type designed for high-density fiber optic applications. The MTP high-density fiber pre-connection system is primarily used in data center environments, fiber-to-the-building applications, and internal connections within optical transceiver equipment supporting 40G, 100G, and QSFP+ technologies.
MTP connector types are distinguished according to IEC 61754-7 regulations based on core numbers, gender (Male/Female), and polarity (PC or APC).
This MTP-MTP 3.0mm LSZH Fiber Patch Cord connects MTP modules together as a permanent link, supporting speeds up to 10/40/100Gbps data center solutions. Available with 12, 24, 48, 60, 72, 96, or 144 fibers, these cables facilitate rapid deployment of high-density backbone cabling in data centers and other high-fiber environments.
The 12F MTP-MTP Fiber Patch Cord is specifically designed for 40G QSFP+ SR4, 40G QSFP+ CSR4, and 100G QSFP28 SR4 optics direct connections.
