Product Overview
The Simplex SM Fiber Optic Patch Cord is a tight/semi-tight buffered fiber cable with SC/APC connectors pre-terminated on both ends. When utilized properly, it allows light signal transmission with minimal return loss and low attenuation, making your network more reliable. Manufactured from superior quality materials, this 9/125 OS2 single mode fiber optic cable is ideal for connecting 1G, 10G, 40G, 100G, and 400G Ethernet connections. It can transport data for up to 10km at 1310nm, or up to 40km at 1550nm.
The cable features a bend-insensitive G657A2 fiber protected by a black HDPE outer sheath and a black LSZH inner sheath, delivering excellent mechanical and environmental performance. A novel flute design makes stripping and splicing fast and easy, while two parallel FRP strength members provide strong resistance against electromagnetic interference and crushing, ensuring long-term stability in demanding FTTH and access network deployments.
