MTP Connector Overview
The MTP (Multi-Fiber Push On) connector is a high-density multi-fiber connector type designed for data center environments, fiber-to-the-building applications, and internal connections in optical transceiver equipment supporting 40G, 100G, and QSFP+ technologies.
MTP connectors are classified according to EIA/TIA-604-5 standards based on fiber count, gender (Male/Female), and polish type (PC or APC).
Trunk Cable Specifications
24F-144F MPO/MTP trunk cables are terminated with MPO/MTP connectors on both ends, creating permanent links between MPO/MTP modules. Available in 12, 24, 48, 60, 72, 96, and 144 fiber configurations, these cables support speeds up to 10/40/100Gbps data center solutions.
