Description: 12F MTP SM Fiber Optic MTP-LC 2.0mm Straight Harness Cables
The MTP connector is a multi-fiber push-on connector type designed for high-density environments. This system is primarily used in data centers, fiber-to-the-building applications, and internal connections within optical transceiver equipment supporting 40G, 100G, and QSFP+ technologies.
MTP connectors are classified according to EIA/TIA-604-5 standards by core count, gender (male/female), and polarity (PC or APC).
These 12-core MTP to 6 LC Duplex (or 12 LC Simplex) straight harness cable assemblies feature MTP connectors on one end and LC/SC/FC/ST connectors on the other. The fanout cables are optimized for 40G QSFP+ PLR4 to 10G SFP+ LR optics direct connections and high-density data center applications.
