The MPO connector is a multi-fiber push-on connector designed for high-density environments. These connectors are widely used in data centers, fiber-to-the-building applications, and internal connections within optical transceiver equipment supporting 40G, 100G, and QSFP+ technologies.
MPO connectors are standardized according to IEC 61754-7 specifications, which define core count, gender (male/female), and polarity (PC or APC).
These 8-core MPO to Duplex (4xLC uniboot) or Simplex (4xLC) straight harness cable assemblies are optimized for direct connections between 40G QSFP+ PLR4 and 10G SFP+ LR optics in high-density data center applications.
