24 Fibers MTP OM4 Fiber Optic Loopback Module Cable for 40/100G Network Testing

The 24F MTP OM4 Fiber Optic Loopback Module/Cable is designed for testing and verification of high-speed network equipment in 40G and 100G applications.

The MTP loopback contains an MTP connector with both ends of the fiber terminated within the same connector, creating a complete light path loop. This configuration enables testing of device launch capacity and receiving sensitivity, particularly in 40/100G network communications. By returning signals to the source, it helps identify various network phenomena and facilitates effective testing and evaluation of fiber network components and interfaces.

Available in multiple fiber configurations to accommodate different testing requirements:

MTP Loopback modules provide looped signals to test transmit and receive functions. They are widely used in testing environments, especially within parallel optics 40G and 100G networks. Loopbacks connect the transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) positions of MTP transceiver interfaces, facilitating and speeding up insertion loss (IL) testing of optical network segments when connected to MTP trunks and patch leads.
