MTP Polarity Connection Methods
Three standardized connection methods ensure proper MTP/MTP polarity for optimal signal transmission.
Polarity A Connection
Key up, key down design maintains fiber position alignment (position 1 to position 1). Requires A-B duplex patch cables on one end and A-A duplex patch cables on the other end.
Polarity B Connection
Key up, key up design with polarity flip (position 1 to position 12). Requires A-B duplex patch cables on both ends.
Polarity C Connection
Key up, key down design with internal fiber cross (position 1 to position 2). Requires A-B duplex patch cables on both ends.
Note: Polarity type is specified in the product naming rules - Polarity A, Polarity B, or Polarity C.
