Product Overview
The 100G QSFP28 LR4 is engineered for single-mode fiber systems utilizing 4×25 CWDM channels in the 1310nm band, supporting transmission distances up to 2km. This module converts four 25Gb/s electrical data channels into four CWDM optical signals, which are then multiplexed into a single 100Gb/s optical transmission stream. On the receiving end, it demultiplexes the 100Gb/s optical input back into four CWDM channels and converts them to electrical data outputs.
The four CWDM channels operate at central wavelengths of 1271nm, 1291nm, 1311nm, and 1331nm. It features a duplex LC connector for optical interfacing and a 38-pin connector for electrical connections. Utilizing single-mode fiber (SMF), this product employs a 4-wavelength Distributed Feedback Laser (DFB) array to convert electrical inputs into CWDM optical signals. The receiver uses discrete photodiodes to collect each wavelength, with signals amplified by a TIA before being output as electrical data.
Designed in compliance with the QSFP28 Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and IEEE 802.3ba standards, this transceiver ensures reliable performance and interoperability.
