Flat Type Drop Cable

Flat drop cable features a flat exterior design and typically consists of a polyethylene jacket, multiple fibers, and two dielectric strength members that provide high crush resistance. While fiber drop cables commonly contain one or two fibers, options with up to 12 or more fibers are now available. The diagram above illustrates the cross-section of a flat drop cable with two fibers.
